Pictures of my first photo shooting of January was around the Winter theme, and how to keep feminine and positive. I had two amazing models. Shout out to @bluedyemonds and @diamondEterniti

It was also a the opportunity to showcase my last jewelry collection "Pieces of Nubi".

The set up:

- Black background

- 2 lights; left and right

- Canon 550D

- No flash

Showcasing the leg ornament over a beautiful beige fur. A beautiful mask ring with a black beaded necklace and earrings set. A perfect combination of African vibe and a western outfit.

Bluedyemonds is such an amazing model, she can be a muse for creative people with a flexible ability to portrait several characters. I was lucky to work with her. The big lesson learn of this shoot was the ISO and the focus. I used a high Iso (800), I think 400 should have been great. And the focus on the camera using a manual set up wasn't on point. Sometimes my eyes were not able to follow (maybe I should check my vision too) reason why some pictures are a little bit blurry. I will try to fix it the next time.

DiamondEterniti was also such an inspiration, with her afro-latina essence.

She rocked the white and black gold beaded necklace set, with a nude Make up did by Bludyemonds who is a great make up artist too.

That was the behind the scene of this photoshoot. Still learning everyday from my errors and experience. The second lesson learned that day is you really need an assistant when you don't have the appropriate equipment. For example I had a reflector but I could use it because I didn't have extra hands or equipment I should have manage better the light direction on faces...
